** Sodacon Music is a label that was founded by Jesse David in 2005. The label grew from a small operation of computer recording to a full band, 3 albums, and multiple tours. His rock/acoustic sound stems from hundreds of influences, resulting in his own unique rock niche. Not bad for a kid who grew up in Magna Utah.

**Since he was a kid he would meet his friends for guitar jams, practice in different bands and eventually learned how to record his own music. "I still can't believe I'm still at this all these years later, I must be crazy or something" says Jesse about his accomplishments. These include years spent putting together quality tracks. 20 years hard work has paid off and his self produced songs now consistently have a polished sound. When he performs live, it's like he's still a kid at heart having fun every single time mixing it up with the crowd.

** Of a few songs that he submitted to Taxi in 2007, 2 songs (About the Summer and the Avenues were forwarded on and given 9 to 10 star rating reviews.

** It hasn't been easy in the slightest for Jess and he's been through different traumatic physical and emotional problems. Throughout the decade of the 2000's his health issues started to mount. In 2007 he released Electro-Magnet, followed up by A Friend Can Follow (acoustic album) in 2008. In spite of his health issues he kept working hard on the music, even recording when very sick. "I knew that the only chance I had to make this work was to take care of myself, watch what I was eating and give the music my all". Over time he dropped the weight, and developed self confidence as well as his own image to go with the sound. "The music in itself helped me overcome much agony and it's good to feel self confidence again. I hope it does the same for others too" says Jesse David.

*** In his earlier years he was afraid to film videos, scared of his appearance and lack of self esteem. He took a trip to San Francisco and filmed his first video "Now You're On Track" from the Electro-Magnet album which met with rave reviews. He started reconnecting with his earlier self, back to his roots with a new re-emergence of energy towards his music.

*** He recorded and released the heavier and fantastic Silver Knuckle album in 2009. The single "Long Memory" was selected for a Reverbnation commercial promotion for September. He also recorded the Classical One EP released January 2010. He put out Silver Knuckle Gold Edition with enhanced tracks through Sodacon Music in January 2010. Several mp3 releases, vinyl, and a full scale new release is set for 2010 as well as nationwide distribution.

***3 albums, music videos, overcoming obstacles and tenacity towards the strength of the music gives hope for more to be heard from Jesse and the Sodacon label. Says Jesse in a final quote "Who would have thought that making those 4 track tapes in the basement years ago would still have me at it putting together professional mixes years later?"
